What is the Pokémon Champions Damage Calculator?
It is a free online tool that calculates the exact damage a move deals in the Pokémon Champions VGC format. You choose an attacker and a defender, set their stats, ability, item and moves, and it shows the full damage range, the chance to knock out, and the type effectiveness.
Is the damage calculator free?
Yes. The calculator is completely free and needs no account or sign-up. It runs entirely in your browser.
How is it different from a normal VGC or Smogon damage calculator?
It is built specifically for the Pokémon Champions format. It uses un-gated Future Mega Evolutions, Champions move sets, and Champions item rules (Choice Band, Choice Specs and Assault Vest are not legal, though Choice Scarf is), so the numbers match the format you actually play.
Does it support Mega Evolution?
Yes. You can Mega Evolve any Pokémon that has a Mega form, including Future Megas. Selecting a Mega locks its ability and its held item to the Mega Stone, exactly as it works in game.
How do I read the damage results?
Each move shows a percent range, from the lowest to the highest possible roll, and a KO verdict such as guaranteed 2HKO or possible OHKO. Open a move to see the raw damage numbers, all sixteen rolls, effectiveness and STAB.
Can I import a team from Poképaste?
Yes. Paste a Poképaste block or a pokepast.es link to load a full team, then tap any team member to switch the active Pokémon on that side.
